German Business Association Georgia (DWVG) is a consortium of engaged in fostering German- Georgian economic relations. It was set up in 2007 to enhance trade and economic relations between Germany and Georgia, and to represent German business interests locally. Today, the association has 31 members from various Georgian and German industrial sectors and supports non-German entities as well.

The DWVG board comprises the German embassy in Tbilisi, which is a consulting member, and Lufthansa, ProCredit Bank, Hipp and Caparol. The association provides an array of services for SMEs looking to enter the Georgian market or those looking to organise fairs and conferences in Georgia. Its offerings include supplying market information, supporting market entry, business partner searches and recruitment of personnel. In addition, it organises business delegations, conferences, etc. DWVG also provides a full complement of office services as well as a translation service.

The association recently organised a round table conference in partnership with the Georgian National Investment Agency (‘Invest in Georgia’) and the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) to attract German investment in Georgia. It has also started a workgroup on legal issues and will, later in the year, organise a German business delegation to Georgia and a road show in Germany.
